It’s time.
I’m in the process of sunsetting Art Intercepts. In the 17 years since launching this website, dance writing has changed. Blogging has changed. Criticism has changed. The internet has changed. I’ve changed.
I’m grateful to those who championed this little project, nurtured it, pitched it, contributed to it and read it. Thank you.
And to aspiring critics with something to say and nowhere to say it, get a blog. As Laura Molzahn said to me once, “See everything and write as much as your can.”
Stories will slowly disappear over the next few weeks before pulling the plug entirely, probably in March or April. Call it a fade to black.
